摘要: The increasing average age in the industrialized nations is leading to an number of elderly traumatized patients. Against this background, analysis age-specific characteristics geriatric patients necessary. In study, 14,869 patients>/= 18 years were analysed, who prospectively documented registry German Trauma Society (DGU) between 1996 and 2005. Patients 59 defined as control group; their proportion declined from 81.1% 1996-2000 75.4% 2001-2005. rose 41.0 (1996) 45.3 (2005). With a significant increase severe head injuries up 58.9%(>/= 80 years) could be observed.
