摘要: Families with autosomal dominant inherited predisposition to gastric cancer have been described. More recently, germline E-cadherin/CDH1 mutations identified in hereditary diffuse kindred. The need protocols manage and counsel these families the clinic led a group of geneticists, gastroenterologists, surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, molecular biologists convene workshop produce consensus statements guidelines for familial cancer. Review available pathology from people belonging documented confirmed that cancers were all type. Criteria define different types syndromes agreed. Foremost among criteria was review histopathology should be part evaluation any family aggregation cases. Guidelines genetic testing counselling produced. Finally, proposed strategy clinical management high penetrance defined.
