摘要: BACKGROUND Aberrant expression of defensins is implicated in the pathogenesis digestive diseases. However, contribution specific and influence their genetic polymorphisms on progression diseases remain controversial. In present meta-analysis, we investigated association between DEFB1 SNPs susceptibility to MATERIAL AND METHODS Case-control studies that reported correlation were identified through electronic databases searches, high-quality satisfied our inclusion criteria selected for this meta-analysis. Statistical analyses performed utilizing STATA software version 12.0. RESULTS The meta-analysis revealed patients with exhibited higher frequencies variants rs11362G>A, rs1800972C>G, rs1799946G>A compared healthy controls under allele model. Subgroup analysis based country showed rs1800972C>G variant model are associated Hungarian Italian populations, respectively. disease type that: (1) rs11362G>A was strongly severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) chronic gastritis, (2) frequency SAP subgroup, (3) positively Crohn's (CD) SAP. CONCLUSIONS Our provides evidence important contributing factors development
