摘要: Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) play a pivotal role in the innate immune responses to Helicobacter pylori (Hp) humans. β-Defensins, class of cationic arginine-rich AMPs, are small secreted by cells and epithelial that exert antimicrobial activity against broad spectrum microorganisms, including Gram-positive Gram-negative bacteria fungi. During Hp infections, AMP expression is able eradicate bacteria, thereby preventing infections gastrointestinal tract. It likely gastric β-defensins increased during infection. The aim this review focus on knowledge response We also briefly discuss potential use either alone or combination with conventional antibiotics, for treatment
