摘要: This paper describes the experimental and analytical program in cryogenic cooling of high-heat-load optics at Advanced-Photon Source. A prototype liquid nitrogen pumping system has been procured. pump provides a variable flow rate 1 to 10 gpm pressurized is sized handle up 5 kW optic heat load. Also, high-vacuum, double-crystal monochromator testing tank fabricated. will be used test crystals existing synchrotron sources. finite element analysis performed for cryogenically cooled Si crystal inclined geometry Undulator 100 mA. The inclination angle was 80{degrees}. It set diffract from (111) planes first harmonic energy 4.2 keV. maximum slope error diffraction plane calculated about {mu}rad with peak temperature 94 K. An also cryogenically-cooled ``thin`` oriented Bragg which accepts 87% lst photons 3.866 total absorbed power 131 W mA current 124
