摘要: Mantle biopsy is a means of obtaining tissue samples for genetic, physiological, and contaminant studies bivalves; but the effects this on survival have not been determined. We describe simple technique such from unionacean bivalves how we compared among biopsied control organisms in field experiments. Survival was significantly different between treatment groups. Power estimates these results were 0.42 0.73. Results similar species habitats. that allows biochemical, mussel populations when destruction individuals should be avoided.
