摘要: This paper aims at presenting a general overview of the array pedagogical practices known as “computer-assisted language learning (CALL)”. Taking departure point insights about historical development CALL field, this essay seeks to emphasize field’s deep roots in prevailing perspectives on second and foreign education across time. A more detailed discussion will focus role Internet contemporary CALL. The article ends with some thoughts field Brazilian context.
