摘要: INTRODUCTION: In radiotherapy, a team of highly specialised professionals co-operate in planning and delivery treatment are responsible for the effectiveness safety service. The aim this article was to present necessity features quality assurance (QA) program radiotherapy through literature review. METHODS: A search carried out Scirus, Medline/ PubMed databases using keywords "clinical oncology", "radiation "radiotherapy", "oncology practice", "quality assurance" care". Twenty-nine articles were chosen covering period 1995-2007. Further information obtained from Royal College Radiologists' UK website. RESULTS: QA relevant three aspects radiotherapy: 1) clinical, involving resources (staffing equipment), procedures (treatment planning, follow up) results (tumor control, toxicity); 2) medical physics, measurements necessary precision equipment; 3) technical, accurate plan implementation smooth function machines. International guidelines defined best practice diagnosis cancer patients. Moreover, principles management provided tools not only reasonable use limited but also continuous improvement organisations towards patient- centred services. CONCLUSION: Quality is dynamic concept that needs be measured re-evaluated scientific methods feedback by users. Successful requires expertise, training co-ordination an environment teamwork.
