摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the mechanisms whereby certain parasites are able to survive and proliferate within cells of their hosts. It presents investigations conducted on genus Leishmania , as well Toxoplasma gondii Trypanosoma cruzi . Analysis entry into host indicates that different have developed entirely invasion procedures. As a result, not only do species display markedly cellular ranges, but they also may eventually become established in intracellular compartments. Hence, physiological environment be quite different, thus, evolved distinct survival strategies. The availability more refined biochemical immunological tools has allowed researchers define molecular interactions governing process, uncover some tricks by these for circumventing defences capturing nutriments required homeostasis growth.
