摘要: Abstract A method was developed for analysis of cholesterol in whole milk powder and commercial liquid products. High performance chromatography employed a nonaqueous reversed phase chromatographic system. Sample preparation by saponification with methanolic potassium hydroxide followed extraction ether. Potential interfering substances were removed prior to injection simple clean-up procedure using silica gel Sep-pak TM , The system included carbon-18 column hexane/isopropanol mobile detection at 205nm. Method validation recovery studies carbon–14 labeled indicated excellent performance.
