摘要: Clinically, development of anti-angiogenic drugs for cancer therapy is pivotal. Longitudinal monitoring tumor angiogenesis can help clinicians determine the effectiveness therapy. Blood Oxygen Level Dependent (BOLD) effect has been widely used functional imaging and oxygenation assessment. In this study, BOLD investigated under different levels oxygen inhalation a novel angiographic MRI technique, angiography (BOLDangio). Under short-term (<10 min) generalized hypoxia, which induced by 8% oxygen, we measure contrast as high 25% from vessels at 9.4T using simple gradient echo (GRE) pulse sequence. This produces resolution 2D 3D maps normal brain vasculature in less than 10 minutes. Additionally, technique reliably detects metastatic tumors intracranial hemorrhage. BOLDangio provides sensitive research tool pathological conditions. Thus, it may be applied measuring preclinical environment.
