Spatial dynamics of Zostera noltii over a 5-year period of fluctuating salinity in the Vaccarès lagoon, France

摘要: During a 5-year survey in the Vaccares lagoon, successive period of decrease and increase water salinity was associated with decline progressive recovery Z. noltii meadow. A negative correlation between cover index depth suggests that light availability limiting factor for plant growth over this period. The persistence turbid due to lack flocculation suspended sediments may explain seagrass meadow salinity.
