摘要: In this chapter, an overview of physics is provided for electromechanical systems concerned with electronic components, low frequency magnetic higher radio (RF) and motors actuators. Several relevant physical scales exist when considering ranging from the material or device level to component, subsystem, fully assembled system level. Microelectromechanical (MEMS), which refer devices size less than 1 mm but greater \(\upmu \)m, are multiphysics by nature fall within broader category systems. However, several authoritative texts related design/optimization MEMS currently exist, topic not extensively covered here. The majority numerical examples presented in book focused on design optimization at component sub-component Thus, context these somewhat larger scales, coupling phenomena may be defined, chapter focussed interactions that engineers must consider designing such More specifics multiple encountered components Sect. 2.1. From there, involved simulation including inductors transformers outlined 2.2, where operating frequencies kHz–MHz range generally considered. Radio MHz–GHz subsequently described 2.3 followed actuators 2.4.
