摘要: Porous fused silica ceramics which had been partially devitrified to cristobalite were stronger at 350°C in the beta-cristobalite stability range, but weaker 25°C after transformation alpha-cristobalite. The tensile strength distribution for different fractions are compared three types of specimens. These samples never transformed alpha-cristobalite; room-temperature with and retransformed prior alpha-cristobalite displayed 50%–75% tested on beta difference was dependent content. Specimens similar virgin Microcracking associated contributes changes cannot fully explain impact beta–alpha strength.
