摘要: Abstract Sliding friction experiments were conducted with copper, nickel, iron and cobalt sliding on themselves in air argon. The resulting wear surfaces examined X-ray analysis to determine if surface texturing had occurred as a result of sliding. Results the investigation indicate that, for face-centered-cubic metals copper (111) texture develops planes tilted 10° direction bodycentered-cubic metal exhibited (110) oriented It also tilt environment influenced results that degree observed argon was less than seen iron. No close-packed-hexagonal cobalt. Recrystallization
