摘要: Alginate is an important virulence factor of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a bacterium that colonizes the pulmonary tracts cystic fibrosis patients. also widely used in food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, consequently there considerable interest molecular biology biochemistry alginate synthesis. As well as its therapeutic potential, research on mucoid P. aeruginosa may provide lead to alternative source for industrial use.
