Triple energy transfer and color tuning in Tb 3+ and Eu 3+ -coactivated apatite-type gadolinium-containing phosphors

摘要: Abstract A family of apatite-type fluorophosphate phosphors with general formula Sr 3 Gd (1- m - n ) Na(PO 4 F: Tb 3+ , Eu (SGN: have been synthesized via the high-temperature solid-state reaction method. Triple energy transfer processes from in host to both and as well verified by photoluminescence spectra. Under excitation UV light, green line transitions red origin simultaneously observed a single phase phosphor, which makes promise for tunable color emissions yellowish-green through yellow ultimately reddish-orange simply adjusting content ( SGN:0.20Tb phosphors. Additionally, ions has demonstrated be resonant type quadrupole–quadrupole mechanism based on Dexter's theoretical model, efficiency increases an increase concentration.
