Quantitative analysis and prediction for acoustical properties of alkali borate glasses

摘要: Abstract Acoustical properties of alkali borate Li2O–B2O3 and Li2O–PbO–B2O3 glasses were analyzed predicted over a wide range composition. The structural role Li2O PbO in these has also been explored. correlation between acoustical the most significant composition parameters was studied interpreted by taking into account coordination boron atoms, total packing density glass, dissociation energy bonds, cross-link ring diameter glassy network. It found that theoretically calculated values from Rocherulle et al. model are more suitable predicting elastic moduli than those Makishima-Mackenzie's theory. Majority Poisson's ratios predictable theory, bond compression model. Moreover, correlations bulk modulus compositional achieved Gopal et al., Rajendran Abd El-Moneim Alfifi's approaches.
