摘要: Ionizing radiation is the most established risk factor for meningioma formation. Our aim was to evaluate main effect of selected candidate genes on development and their possible interaction with ionizing in causation this tumor. The total study population included 440 cases controls: 150 patients who were irradiated tinea capitis childhood, 129 individuals similarly but did not develop meningioma, 69 no previous history irradiation, 92 asymptomatic controls. DNA from peripheral blood samples genotyped single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) 12 genes: NF2, XRCC1, XRCC3, XRCC5, ERCC2, Ki-ras, p16, cyclin D1, PTEN, E-cadherin, TGFB1, TGFBR2. SNP analysis done using MassArray system (Sequenom, San Diego, CA) computerized by SpectroTYPER. Logistic regressions applied each gene formation between radiation. Intragenic SNPs Ki-ras ERCC2 associated (odds ratio, 1.76; 95% confidence interval, 1.07-2.92 odds 1.68; 1.00-2.84, respectively). A significant found D1 p16 (P = 0.005 0.057, findings suggest that are markers formation, whereas may be have an inverse nonirradiated populations.
