摘要: While debates about sustainable development tend to focus on national- and international-scale problems, sustainability programs research generally the regional, county, municipal, or even household level. Less has focused evaluating benefits of pairing two cities (i.e., sister city partnerships) with different needs capabilities jointly enhance potential for practices between cities. Given shrinking state federal budgets nascent national climate policy, how might US use existing resources achieve greater levels sustainability? This paper presents a new data-driven mathematical tool—the partnership assessment intra-regional sustainability—that planners can explore prospects improving by leveraging establishing synergistic partnerships neighboring The efficacy tool is assessed through presentation Southern California case study results psychological survey residents.
