摘要: The inositol-requiring enzyme 1α (IRE1α) is a serine-threonine kinase that plays crucial roles in activating the unfolded protein response. Studies suggest IRE1α activated during thymic T cell development and effector CD8+ cells. However, its role regulating helper differentiation remains unknown. We find up-regulated upon CD4+ activation an important promoting cytokine IL-4 production. cells from KO mice have reduced expression, this impaired production not due to altered expression of Th2 lineage-specific transcription factors, such as GATA3. Instead, mRNA stability Furthermore, treatment with IRE1α-specific inhibitor, 4μ8C, leads block IL-4, IL-5, IL-13 production, confirming regulation IL-4. This study identifies regulatory function for promotion
