摘要: Circumventricular organs (CVOs) are specialized ventricular structures around the third and fourth ventricles of brain. In humans, these present during fetal period some become vestigial after birth. Some organs, such as pineal gland (PG), subcommissural organ (SCO), organum vasculosum lamina terminalis, might be sites origin periventricular tumors, notably parenchymal papillary tumor region chordoid glioma. contrast to situation in CVOs adult rat can dissected by laser capture microdissection (LCM). this study, we used LCM microarrays analyze transcriptomes three CVOs, SCO, subfornical (SFO), PG ventricle ependyma rat, order better characterize at molecular level. Several genes were expressed only, or mainly, one structures, for example, Erbb2 Col11a1 ependyma, Epcam Claudin-3 (CLDN3) Ren1 Slc22a3 SFO Tph, Aanat Asmt PG. The expression tumors should examined evidence a possible from CVOs. Furthermore, performed an immunohistochemical study CLDN3, membrane protein involved forming cellular tight junctions found that CLDN3 was restricted apical pole ependymocytes SCO. This microarray provides new regarding rare tumors.
