摘要: Nacrtak In Italy, where conventional forests have a protective rather than productive purpose, some silvicultural operations as first and second thinning could be carried out in an economic way adopting systems based on small scale mechanization. Authors tested system mechanization for bunching skidding operations, using All Terrain Vehicle (ATV), compact, agile versatile vehicle that adapts well to dense inaccessible forests, such of artificial origin no kind intervention, particularly thinning, had ever been out. The was used bunching, electric winch, whole trees. use the ATV showed it is competitive with both traditional cutting edge vehicles, performing traction power average 313 daN PHS0 productivity variable from 1.20 3.05 td.m.h -1. Such figures confirm how level ground but also slopes (max 50%), over distances not exceeding 200 m, perfectly suitable vehicle. Furthermore, impact especially shallow soil horizons negligible effect tree roots.
