摘要: Summary This prospective study recorded levels of analgesia (loss sharp pin prick sensation) and anaesthesia touch in 220 women during caesarean section under regional (70 epidurals, 150 spinals). At delivery the difference between varied from 0–7 segments for epidurals 0–9 spinals. During surgery level at time pain was experienced T5 T10. No patient with a which remained above pain. These results indicate that assessing adequacy block by may be misleading absence spinal or epidural narcotics up to including is required prevent section.
