摘要: The developmental competence of oocytes recovered from the ovaries slaughtered prepubertal and adult pigs was evaluated after in vitro maturation, parthenogenetic activation culture vitro. In addition, effect follicular fluid (FF) on investigated. When matured FF, rates cleavage (92 v. 73%; P < 0.01) blastocyst formation (57 38%; P < 0.05) were greater for than oocytes. Blastocysts derived had more trophectoderm cells (43 30; total (51 36; blastocysts not affected by FF donor age, whereas was. (38 24; P < 0.005), inner cell mass (7 3; (45 27; P < 0.001) FF. Characterization steroid content used to supplement maturation medium revealed that contained progesterone (42 23 ng mL−1; P < 0.005) androstenedione (70 16 ng mL−1; molar ratios androstenedione, 17β-oestradiol testosterone differed (P < 0.05) between results support hypothesis a proportion has completed ‘oocyte capacitation’. differences are indicative different environments which isolated, may be attributed observed effects oocyte competence.
