摘要: Compared to humans and other mammals, rodent genomes, specifically Muroidea species, underwent intense chromosome reshuffling in which many complex structural rearrangements occurred. This fact makes them preferential animal models for studying the process of karyotype evolution. Here, we present first combined comparative maps between 2 Cricetidae Cricetus cricetus Peromyscus eremicus, index species Mus musculus Rattus norvegicus. Comparative painting was done using mouse rat paint probes together with silico analysis from Ensembl genome browser database. Hereby, evolutionary events (inter- intrachromosomal rearrangements) that occurred C. P. eremicus since putative ancestral could be inferred, breakpoint regions detected. A colocalization constitutive heterochromatin each observed. Our results suggest involvement restructuring these despite different levels conservation (derivative) (conserved) genomes.
