摘要: A recent study aligning genomic data from eight mammalian species has provided new and detailed information on the architecture of chromosomes that are thought to comprise karyotype boreoeutherian ancestor. The analyses suggest evolutionary breakpoints clustering in "hotspots", these regions enriched for centromeres more commonly occurring human cancer-associated tend co-localize with breakpoints.
