摘要: The availability of the genome sequence many crop species during past few years has opened a new era in plant biology, allowing for performance massive genomic studies other than classical models Arabidopsis and rice. One these is melon (Cucumis melo), cucurbit high economic value that become an interesting model study biological processes such as fruit ripening, sex determination phloem transport. recent sequence, together with number genetic resources, provides powerful tools can be used to assist main breeding targets, namely disease resistance quality. In this review, we will describe data obtained combining use near isogenic line (NIL) population resources gain insight into agronomically important traits Cucumber Mosaic virus (CMV) accumulation sugars fruits.
