摘要: Some issues related to the microbiological quality and safety of probiotic products requires use fast reliable methods for control throughout production along market chain. One authenticity/quality at is actual content viable lactic acid bacteria (LAB) in them. Claims on labels usually state live LAB above 106-107 cfu/ml or g, but studies show that many occasions this may not be true. Another issue dairy-based their safety, a common problem contamination by microorganisms from Enterobacteriaceae group. The aim study was compare performance alternative MPN-based TEMPO LAB® EB® with reference ISO 15214:1998 21528-2:2004 enumeration various products. conducted 114 Bulgarian foods supplements. Results showed good agreement between respective methods, which confirms can effectively used as rapid assessing important indicators
