摘要: In order to optimise a tidal energy conversion system operation, maintenance and power generation aspects have be taken into account. As result the key focus of this paper is propose investigate an alternative method implementing using pitch-regulated turbine variable-speed squirrel cage induction generator with long distance converters. The output can optimised by utilising control strategies allowing operate at maximum coefficient while availability increased reducing components installed offshore three-phase cables between onshore voltage source current investigated developing full resource-to-grid model in MATLAB/Simulink performing analysis regarding effects harmonics. Simulation results show that manipulating harmonic components, adding passive filters, problems associated harmonics reflecting waves minimised.
