摘要: This paper deals with the control strategies for a fixed-pitch marine current turbine (MCT) when speed exceeds rated value corresponding to power of generator and converter. Over-rated currents occur at large spring tides or under strong sea states; in these cases maximum point tracking (MPPT) must be changed limitation limiting value. In this paper, two flux-weakening are investigated. A feedback is applied extend rotor operating range over nominal MPPT during high currents. strategy, characteristics used generate reference can obtained steady-state. torque directly calculated by speed; method enables limited dynamic process. Both investigated compared tidal speeds without swell effect.
