摘要: Swell is the main disturbance for marine tidal speed. The power harnessed by a current turbine (MCT) can be highly fluctuant due to swell effect. Conventional Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm will require generator accelerate/decelerate frequently under effect and therefore cause severe fluctuations in power. This paper deals with smoothing control of grid-connected MCT system. In first step, modified MPPT filter strategy proposed side reduce fluctuation second Supercapacitor (SC) Energy Storage System (ESS) added compensate residual fluctuations. As average speed predictable, it possible SC ESS realize smoothed injected grid. Simulations carried-out on 1.5 MW direct-driven generation system demonstrate that association achieves grid-injected case disturbances.
