摘要: Metabolic syndrome is a major risk factor for the development of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes, among other conditions. Studies have shown that aging metabolic share several alterations, aged individuals, in particular females, are at an increased developing disorders. Although studies investigated effects hypercaloric diets obesity young animals, few these parameters especially females. Therefore, aim this study was to investigate diet female rats, including its on lipid glycemic profile liver content. When compared rats presented serum levels triglycerides decreased HDL cholesterol glycemia, as well hepatic total cholesterol. The food intake, body weight gain adiposity index, leading both animals dyslipidemia, represented by triglycerides. glycemia HOMA index only animals. On hand, frequency hepatocellular microvacuolar degeneration In summary, it observed females from different ages respond differently intake: while were more resistant changes profile, they susceptible damage caused diet.
