摘要: Abstract Multi-phase ceramic composite coatings of TiB 2 –TiC–Al O 3 , with an intermetallic phase TiAl were developed by combining self-propagating high temperature synthesis (SHS) reaction pre-placed TiO B 4 C and Al powders subsequent laser coating the products SHS onto AISI 1020 steel substrate help a power diode (HPDL). The characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission gun scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) micro-hardness measurement. dry sliding wear behavior was assessed ball-on-disc tribometer at various loads (9.8, 19.6, 29.4 39.2 N) speeds (0.052, 0.104 0.156 m/s). results show that rate increases coefficient friction decreases increase in normal load. power, scan speed employed for production during tests do not appreciably affect tribological performance coating. However, exhibit rapid suffer from partial removal substrate.
