摘要: Abstract Statement of problem Minimal evidence is available concerning the appropriate thickness each layer in bilayered ceramic systems. Purpose The purpose this in vitro study was to examine effect core-veneer ratios on fatigue strength a bonded system. Material and methods Specimens Ivoclar Porcelain System (IPS) e.max lithium disilicate were fabricated with core/veneer thicknesses 0.5/1.0 mm, 0.75/0.75 1.0/0.5 1.5/0.0 mm. All specimens cemented bases dentin-like material. Each specimen cyclically loaded by 2-mm–diameter G10 piston water. Loads ranging from 10 N target load applied at frequency 20 Hertz for 500 000 cycles. If cracked, next cycled lower load; if not higher (step size 25 N). Results Mean standard deviations loads different core 0.5-mm 610.94 ±130.11; 0.75-mm 600.0 ±132.80; 1.0-mm 537.50 ±41.67; Nd 1.5-mm 501.14 ±70.12. veneered groups significantly stronger than full group (ANOVA, P 2 test, Conclusions indicate that addition veneering porcelain cores increases biceramic
