摘要: The study of the relative importance feedback structure (intrinsic processes) and exogenous (climatic or environmental) factors in determining population dynamics, particular interaction between density-dependence climate, is a major question ecology. We sought to explain numerical fluctuations 2 sympatric rodent species at one well-studied site semi-arid Chile using simple theoretically based dynamics models Royama's theoret- ical framework for analyzing populations influenced by climatic forces. found that rainfall effects appear operate different manner on species. For (Phyllotis darwini), appeared influence carrying capacity environment, whereas second (Akodon olivaceus) effect had primarily additive maximum per capita growth rates.
