A Simplified Method for Production and Growth of Multicellular Tumor Spheroids

摘要: A new technique, based on the growth of tumor cells in liquid media over an agar base, has been developed for formation and multicellular spheroids. All 11 transformed cell lines tested formed spheroids, while none 8 normal types did so. The advantages present technique older methods include its simplicity, generality, experimental flexibility.
