摘要: A poorly vascularized solid tumour can have many properties that complicate the situation for drug treatment. The deficient blood vessel support will lead to regions consisting of well supported, proliferating cells, deeper-lying containing mainly resting and distant from vessels dead cells or massive necrosis. For example, this a suboptimal concentration in after IV injection, especially if has fast clearance plasma it poor penetration into unvascularized tissue. Other factors influencing effects are differences micro-environment as function distance supporting vessels. Such micro-environmental might, be cell-to-cell contacts composition extracellular matrix, decreased oxygen tension due high consumption pH result anaerobic glycolysis accumulation catabolic products. Proliferation gradients nodules might give rise additional variations effects. These depend on cell cycle specificity drug.
