摘要: Objective The association between occupational exposure to lead and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) was examined through systematic review meta-analyses of relevant epidemiological studies reported according PRISMA guidelines. Methods Relevant were searched in multiple bibliographic databases September 2013; additional articles tracked PubMed until submission. All records screened DistillerSR, the data extracted from included synthesized with meta-analysis. Results risk developing ALS among individuals a history almost doubled (odds ratio, 1.81; 95% confidence interval, 1.39 2.36) on basis nine case-control specific information, no apparent heterogeneity across (I = 14%). attributable because estimated be 5%. Conclusions Previous may factor for ALS.
