摘要: Abrasive water jet cutting (AWJC) is one of the widely used non-conventional techniques for difficult-to-cut materials like composites, super alloys and ceramics. However, while conducting initial trials inability to cut through workpiece a major problem particularly in thicker materials. Therefore an accurate prediction depth (DOC) absolutely necessary achieve cuts more so minimize delamination polymer matrix composites. In this paper, semi-empirical model developed using non-linear regression analysis DOC AWJC thick Kevlar-epoxy Further, verified by experiments within investigated range process parameters good agreement obtained between two.
