摘要: Primordial odontogenic tumor (POT) is a rare tumor. It new entity in the latest edition of World Health Organization classification 2017. In English-language literature, only 14 cases have been documented. Most POTs show well-defined unilocular radiolucency surrounding crown an unerupted molar, resembling dentigerous cyst. Microscopically, POT may be difficult to distinguish from myxoma, ameloblastic fibroma, hyperplastic dental follicle and papilla. Here, we reported case 17-year old female presenting with asymptomatic bony hard swelling at left posterior mandible. Interestingly, this shows unique radiographic microscopic features prominent calcifications stellate reticulum-like structures. These characteristics rarely described all previously POTs. Importantly, first demonstrating radiopacity radiographs. We encourage more documented as variations features. oral radiologists, surgeons pathologists must aware order avoid misdiagnosis inappropriate treatment.
