Cell type heterogeneity of intermediate filament expression in epithelia of the human pituitary gland.

摘要: In the present study we have localized immunohistochemically intermediate filament proteins of human pituitary gland (adenohypophysis, pars intermedia and tuberalis) by an indirect immunoperoxidase technique or double immunofluorescence methods analysed individual cytokeratin polypeptides using two-dimensional gel electrophoresis. We found that expression cytokeratins in different epithelial cells anterior was heterogeneous. Whereas endocrine only expressed 8 18, folliculo-stellate exhibited a reactivity for 7, 8, 18 19 as well GFAP vimentin. The squamous tuberalis Ratke's cysts showed more complex pattern both simple type. many cystic including “pseudo-follicles” triple cytokeratin, vimentin could be observed, some basal nests coexpressed differences protein distribution are discussed light embryological relationships parts gland.
