摘要: The insulin-mimetic action of vanadate is well established but the exact mechanism by which it exerts this effect still not clearly understood. role insulin in regulation hepatic glycogen metabolizing and lipogenic enzymes known. In our study, we have, therefore, examined effects on these using four different models diabetic insulin-resistant animals. Vanadate normalized blood glucose levels all animal models. streptozotocin-induced rats, amount liver activities active-form synthase, both active inactive-forms phosphorylase, like 6-phosphate dehydrogenase malic enzyme were decreased treatment to near normal levels. other three (db/db mouse, sucrose-fed rats fa/fa obese Zucker rats) characterized hyperinsulinemia, hypertriglyceridemia, increases enzymes, marginal changes enzymes. brought values towards It should be noted that shows differential modulation type I II animals prevents elevation hyperinsulinemic insulin-stimulated phosphorylation receptor β subunit its tyrosine kinase activity was increased after with vanadate. Our results support view one sites involved actions
