Long-Term Validation and Variability of the Shortwave and Longwave Radiation Data of the GEWEX Surface Radiation Budget (SRB) Project

摘要: In this investigation, we make systematic Surface Radiation Budget-Baseline Network (SRB-BSRN), Data Centre (SRB-WRDC) and Budget-Global Energy Balance Archive (SRB-GEBA) comparisons for both shortwave longwave daily monthly mean radiation fluxes at the Earth's surface. We first have an overview of all comparable pairs data in scatter or density plots. Then show time series SRB grids which there are ground sites where longterm records available comparison. An overall very good agreement between observations is found. To see variability during 21.5 years, computed global its linear trend. No appreciable trend detected 5% level. The empirical orthogonal functions (EOF) deseasonalized downward flux over Pacific region, EOF coefficient found to be correlated with ENSO Index a high value 0.7083.
