摘要: Recent studies have demonstrated that BRAF(V600E) mutation is a common event in papillary thyroid carcinoma and majority of these lesions shown direct relationship between aggressive characteristics, including worse patient prognosis. However, there are no from Japan regarding this issue large series with adequate postoperative follow-up periods. We investigated 631 patients having median periods 83 months. The prevalence was 38.4%, the rate higher larger than 1.0 cm but did not successively increase tumor size. Furthermore, significantly cases demonstrating high-risk biological features such as clinically apparent lymph node metastasis, massive extrathyroid extension, advanced age, distant metastasis at surgery, Stage. disease-free survival differ those without mutation. These findings indicate that, although may play some roles local development, evidence reflects characteristics poor prognosis Japan.
