摘要: Introduction Group AB plasma, the traditional universal donor plasma product, is a limited resource. We compared outcomes of Group A transfusion in comparison to AB. Methods Analysis blunt-injured patients who received emergency release from was performed. Multivariable logistic regression utilized identify associations with morbidity and mortality. Results There were 191 patients; 115 76 AB. No differences seen age, sex, transfusions, uncrossmatched red blood cells (RBCs), Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS). Patients had significantly lower Injury Severity Score, chest Abbreviated (AIS), scene transfer rate but not head AIS, or abdomen AIS. In addition, significant noted terms products transfused within 24 hours those receiving over Development acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), mortality, higher cohort. hemolytic associated-ARDS reactions either group. ARDS; RBC volumes AIS independently associated mortality. Conclusion Utilization for resuscitation safe option which may alleviate potential shortages plasma.
