摘要: BACKGROUND Although evidence supporting this practice is limited, some centers use thawed group A plasma for the initial resuscitation of trauma patients. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS To better understand current in resuscitation, a survey was developed, validated, and distributed via e-mail to 121 American centers. RESULTS A total 61 responses were received. Most from Level 1 (56/61, 92%) urban settings (47/61, 77%). Virtually all reported maintaining inventory (59/61, 97%). Among 56 center respondents, most keep immediately available (49/56, 88%) many recipients unknown ABO (34/49, 69%). Half surveyed implemented within past year. The majority do not limit amount that can be administered patients (21/34, 62%), titer anti-B (27/34, 79%). CONCLUSION The maintain inventories group. used situation or anti-B.
