Mixed monolayers of dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine and ethyl palmitate at the air/water interface

摘要: Abstract The behaviour of monolayers containing dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine and ethyl palmitate their mixtures at different molar fraction, using surface pressure–molecular area results, was investigated. negative deviation from additivity the mean molecular areas as a function mixture composition indicates miscibility. miscibility confirmed by applying two-dimensional phase rule, since collapse pressure values vary with mixtures. Also free energy mixing ΔGmix excess Δ G mix E were determined. indicate that mixed are thermodynamically more stable compared to pure ones compounds in two dimensional state experience mainly attractive interactions.
