摘要: The prevalent human hantavirus disease in Sweden is nephropathia epidemica, which caused by Puumala virus and shed infected bank voles (Clethrionomys glareolus). To evaluate temporal spatial patterns of this disease, we studied 2,468 reported cases from a highly disease-endemic region northern Sweden. We found that, particular, middle-aged men living rural dwellings near coastal areas were overrepresented. casepatients most often late autumn, when engaged activities or within manmade rodent refuges. Of 862 case-patients confident about the site exposure, 50% concentrated 5% study area. incidence epidemica was significantly correlated with vole numbers monitored populations part region. Understanding relationship may help forestall future outbreaks.
