摘要: Department of Conservative Dentistry, Medical University Łodź, Poland.Silver and gold have been used for centuries as antimicrobial agents. The aim the study was to investigate diametral tensilestrength, microhardness, ion release light transmission experimental resin composites. Flowable dental composite SDR (Dentsply,United Kingdom) modified by nanogold, nanosilver silica addition. metal release, study, microhard-ness, Diametral Tensile Strength were evaluated. nanosilver-containing composites released significant amounts Al,Si, Sr Ba ions up 30 days, negligible silver amounts. Significant Ag occurred in nanosilver- nanogold-modified composite. Resin with nanogold deposited on carrier exhibit lower transmissionand opaque appearance. All exhibited higher microhardness comparison non-modified compos-ites. comparable control group.
